rnc-mode software package provides Emacs editing mode for RELAX NG Compact syntax, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install rnc-mode
rnc-mode is installed in your system.
Make ensure the rnc-mode package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep rnc-mode *
You will get with rnc-mode package name, version, architecture and description in a table
